If the document needs additional witnesses then you will need to bring them with you. I am being discretionary about the types of documents that I am comfortable notarizing. Other Vermont residents need to go to their Town of residence for a Green Mountain Passport. The Jericho Town Clerk Office is only able to issue Green Mountain Passports to Jericho Residents Only. Green Mountain Passport, a Vermont State Park Visitor's Pass Discount Program for seniors and veterans, can be issued during normal business hours. We are working on scanning back to Volume 35 which begins in June 1961. Our electronic index now goes back to November 1980 and the index and images available through US Land Records. We can email the "hit list" from the electronic land record index, if you let us know what name (s) to search. You can find lister cards on line from the 2022 Grandlist by address or from a map. May 30th there were 105 dogs left to renew their license for 2023. You can stop by Town Hall in person to confirm all the info we have on file is correct and pick up the new 2023 purple Jericho dog tags. Dogs need to renew their registration each calendar year by April 1. We will be mailing out reminders to all dogs mid-January as we have some in the system who did not renew in 2021 or 2022 and do not have a valid rabies on file with the Town. A valid rabies certificate at least through 4/1/23 needs to be on file with the Town to take advantage of this timely dog registration incentive. The fee is waived if dogs are registered timely by April 1, 2023. As of February 21st we have licensed 428 dogs. As of January 23rd we have licensed 150 dogs. Land Records are now available on line through US Land RecordsÄog Registration for 2023 has begun.
